its not bad but im sure there are better kits they could have added. didnt even know that was one if im honest.

That was the kit around about 72/73....when we also wore black shorts and socks.

   It was a fairly grizzly period in STFC history, marked by the break up of the great 68/69 side, the sale of Don Rogers, dramatically falling gates against a backdrop of power cuts, strikes and the three day week.  The drop into Div 3 with the appointment of an internal candiiate was inevitable.

 Back then kits tended to last for a few seasons.....that shirt certainly first came on the scene in 72/73, and was still probably being used 4 or 5 years later.

Well, clearly it changed - we played in red and black in 72-73 and then black and white in the two seasons following! Erm, I'll get me coat ...

Looks like the 74/75 version had the short sleeves, whereas the 72/73 had long sleeves.....I gues they weren't always optional.
