Agree with your point. He his always start on the bench. I had this conversation with my dad during half-time on saturday.

Wouldn't call it a waste of time myself.  On the evidence of the Brentford game Holgate is willing to get stuck in to the opposition, and not affraid to beat a man, look up and play a decent ball.   His distribution is good, so why not?  He'd win his fair share of headers aswell - much like Monkey on the left hand side.
