Just heard on local radio that Martyn Staymes (sp) has been elected to the board of directors at STFC.
That was lucky, he's just in time to be wheeled out as the fall guy at tomorrows AGM then !!!

It's Martyn Starnes, but the Beeb seem to have written his name down somewhere as Stames and keep mispronouncing it ever after. He's come a long way in a short time then - from Sandy Gray's number two to Acting Chief Exec and director in just 18 months. Doesn't say a lot for Mark D's chances of getting his job back, does it?

I was gonna say it doesn't sound good for Devlin.

I wonder if Mr Staines (sp  Wink ) will be registering for TEF and Thisis shortly, I doubt it very much.

Think he's manager of Sherborne Town.....which may explain why we played them pre season last year.

At least he has experience of non league football, as that is the direction this Board will take us.

To be fair at least he talks the talk better than Sandy Janet Street-Porter. And, um,  Huh?

That said it didn't need this appointment to put the final nail in Devlin's coffin, Holt and the "lost faith in his direction " statement from Wills the younger did that

Unless Fatbury knows something you (and Ben Lambert) don't know Paul!!

Mike D's daughter's a Goer shock!!

We should get the Town End to sing songs about Mike D's daughter a la away fans at old trafford singing songs about Posh taking uppa the puppa during Beckham's time there!

Lamberchelo from the Thisis site, he works for the club, was the stand in commercial man, whilst Mike Sullivan was away, as Batch may confirm.  And he will be the son in law of "Evil" Mike D
