Wonder if that's the reason Ince's stay was so short. YES, i am speculating but.....
The Ince contract was supposedly offered to before the season started.....eventually Ince comes but by that stage the Leeds manager's job is up for grabs.....Ince only came here because of Wise...Wise potentially off to Leeds - Ince slips up as above....
...you just wonder if this was all known in advance.

yes but surely if the Swindon job was about to come up .. if he had thought Swindon was a club going places he would have hung around .. as surely we are in a better position than Macc ... all im saying is .. maybe the table isnt telling the whole story ... I hope im wrong but it suggested that Ince thought more of Macc than us .. unless the travelling really REALLY was an issue ...

Yes, I think the travelling really was an issue therefore we would never have been in the running for Ince as manager anyway.

but if he were manager im sure he would consider it more worthwhile .. I could be wrong .. if hes too lazy to travel for the club anyway he is probably too lazy to be a manager .. and to be honest I cant say I wanted him to take over anyway ... So KT .. whats your take on it all? Will Wisey leave? who should we get in ? or likely to be getting in?

Think about it, would you rather be a thirty-something player coach fast approaching retirement with a slim chance of getting a managerial job at the end of the season, or would you take the first managerial job that becomes available, save them from relegation and get yourself a good reputation? |
