You're shit smell of roses compared to ours mate. Let's have a peak at the last 16 years.
90 onwards - We get promoted, then demoted two divisions within days (reinstated to second div.)
We lose Ossie to Newcastle and we narrowly avoid the drop to the third div.
Hoddle sorts us out gets us back up to the premier league. Then leaves days after to join Chelsea.
Our biggest season ever is a disaster. back down to second div.
We then go down to 3rd div, McMahon is now our manager, who not only is a fucking clueless scouse bastard, he's also a cunt who procedes to rip the heart out of the club.......
Shall I go on?
Look at your terrible last 16 years. You return to the top flight, win the league, have a great champions league run. Then suffer in the premiership a little and end up in the vastly improved Championship. Where you struggle but are by no means in the shit that we have been in for the last 8 years or so.

Hey, we did win Div 2... :? I started getting depressed whilst writing that so I had to cut it short. I "regrettable" sacrificed boring our new Leeds friend with our conceding a last minute goal to Brighton and then losing on penalties, just for a shot of getting back into that God forsaken league that his club are very nearly propping up. |
