.....weren't some of our board seen in conversation with him last week, perhaps it wasn't about returning as a player.

Re-Cap for the conspiracy theorists... http://www.thisisstfc.co.uk/news_headlines_Story.asp?NewsID=5946As for the Town link, he’s spoken to Sir Seton Wills recently but it wasn’t about a return.
He said: “After the 1-1 draw in the league game, I was sitting in the dressing room, there was a knock on the door and in came Sir Seton and Mike Spearman (former chairman).
“They shook my hand and said some nice things even though I’d just stopped them getting three points.
“It’s the first time I’ve ever had opposition officials come in like that. I appreciated it.

We know all too well, that players and managere trot out the cliches.....if Mooney was offered the managers job here, I'm sure its something he may take....these opportunities don't grow on trees

A bloke i work with told me Friday night that he overheard a youth player at some Gym over South Marston, he said that this Youth player said that they went into the dressing room to talk to Mooney about becoming player manager if Wise left.
