Do you think the 6 months or so he's spent at Pompey will have better prepared Tony Adams to have another crack at management?

I won't be a former manager... It doesn't make any sense - the boo-boys will go fucking mental if they brought back Andy King or his pupils.
It also won't be anyone who's currently employed elsewhere.

It mightn't be the best outcome but I genuinely believe that Williams could be a decent manager, and for me has been a phenomenal signing in terms of defensive organisation this season. It wouldn't be ideal, but we could do a lot worse.

I’d have thought Tuttle will be the preferred choice with Lee and/or Williams stepping up into the assistant and coaching roles.
As with Iffy & Woan I wouldn’t expect to see replacements for either’s position, which will save a few quid.

IF Wise and Poyet did go (I still don't think they will ) I think Tuttle would be a good aqusition as he'd know what training regime to use, in terms of gettin the players fit and ready, because he would have learnt off the likes of Poyet and Wise. Williams would also make a good appointment, like others have said.

Tuttle would be a disaster......I carried on going when Ken Beamish was appointed in similar circumstances, (ie cheap internal no hoper) and gates were soon down to sub 2000.....even then I had an optimism that we'd rise like a phoenix and so it proved. If its Tuttle, then I'm not sure I could find the enthusiasm any longer.
