for what it's worth - I don't think gus and den will leave. Did you see how much they celebrated at the final whistle at shrewsbury? I just can't see it - gus in particular loves this club...

We all know we'll be there Saturday.
Too right Batch ... but ... I'm getting Bart-ish about this now. Surely time to stand up to this board? About what, or rather what has changed. The major event was when the rift ended in Power leaving, club secretaries sacked, the overspend 'revelations' and the statementfest(tm). That was all preventable. That is what they should have had their balls chewed off for. This (Wise leaveing) was not in their control. It remains to be seen whether this is the fallout from above or Wise being an utter cunt and simply shafting us a-la-Todd. Either way I think the consortium buyout now looks like te only hope, unless james Wills 'investor' turns out to be the Saltan of Brunai. We all know we'll be there Saturday. i won't :x Splitter!

What was it Iffy said when Wise was appointed? something abouth the club needing some long term stability. Thats gone right out the window even more than a regular swindon season this year. Total shambles. Just hope they stay

Perhaps, but Wise going (we presume) to Leeds is surely a direct consiquence of this. Until now, none of this fiasco has had an effect on the playing side of things (as far as we know). This is looking like the first *direct* consiquence on the playing side - surely now we should stand up? Or are we all so brow-beaten now that Wise going isn't worth "chewing their balls off" for?

Problem is that the board get away with it every time. I know some of you dont like my views- but how many times have i been proved wrong?
Next manager will be a cheap option. Tuttle reeves, iffy or woan

Just had a nice pint and thought I would get back on my computer and look to see if there was any betting on the next Leeds manager. Low and behold TOTESPORT have compiled a new book just issued. Wise might not be going after all chaps!!! GARRY McALLISTER 5/4 JOHN CARVER 2/1 GLENN HODDLE 3/1 DENNIS WISE 4/1 ooooops, whats happened, looks like Wise has said NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TownenderInYeovil

138 Posts Posted - 23/10/2006 : 12:31:35 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Obviously seeing I have not had a reply you don't believe me, well. Search RACING POST Go to betting site, championship, next Leeds manager and you will see the betting. From 1/5 on last night to no offers this morning to 4/1 against, either TOTESPORT are giving Christmas early for anyone who wants to win 4 times as much as they have in their pocket or WISE IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE. Not sure about this but if there are straws to be clutched, I'll clutch them.
