Yes Reg but who's word are you taking that Blatchely and Donegan were so bad, Diamandis?

Diamandis will take this club nowhere. We will continue in intensive care, be drip fed on a life suppot machine, basically stuck going nowhere.

We wont move forward as no investors will com in with them in charge, they MUST go

I don't need anyone's word on the matter, I just observed the way the club was being run at the time.....if you think this lot are bad, then the previous regime were infinitely worse.

I agree with you their reg.

And you take the piss out of Bart's speling !

meh !

I do hope that's some genius irony. Unfortunately I think it's just a typo.

I do agree DV85, if we have no-one waiting in the wings we are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

However- i cannot honestly see anyone cominng in and working with these people, therefore the only option available is a full takeover of the club. I also cannot see SBC working with them either

In summary the 2 vital ingredients we need to move forward, fresh investment and the redevelopment will not happen withh the current regime, therefore thereis no alternative than for new ownership

The problem is solved! Today I purchased a Euro million lottery ticket (£1.50)
I am positive I will win the estimated 56,000,000 pound jackpot and then I will take over the club.

You read it here first.

Anybody seen that old Chief Exec Peter Rowe (aka redexile2) has popped up on MyOnlySwindon (and the WDP) giving his views - if I were Ritson or Hadwin I'd go in for an exclusive of what its like working day to day with Diamandis

Donnegan was an OK bloke. And he was suprisingly interested in team matters for a property man. But he was recklessly wracking up debts on behalf on STFC with no long term strategy whatsoever.

Thats why Devlin was so good, because he seemed to make a little money go so much further than the others could. But James Wills says he isnt comming back. We'll see.

As for Peter Rowe, hes posted as Redexile2 on here http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=1019&p=16&style=2&forumId=3486&action=1&replytoid=530990804

Can somebody remind me of when Rowe was CE? Was he a Donnegan/Blatchley man? Or was he brought in by SSW et al?

He managed to span both teams, because SSW never sold his shares, just gave over the full running of the club (as I understand it).  So Rowe stayed on during the transition period before being ousted with Bob Holt I think taking the role at first (I might be wrong, maybe Devlin went straight into it).

I don't think he has a very high opinion of Diamandis, certainly has an axe to grind.

You find me one person he has worked with him that has a high opinion of him

If he remains in charge we will decline, and go out of the league. We wont get the ground because SBC wont work with him, neither will any investors

herthab: I ran it back through babelfish, it's quite good:
