Yep it was one of Rikki Hunt's initiatives......it didn't really work though, as nobody knew who anybody was on it, and there was a bit of a vetting process to ensure a lack of controversial individuals.

Also there was no access to any proper Board meetings

That wont have any effect

The only way we will go forward and attract new investors/ get SBC on side is minus Dunwoody and its followers

If things stay as they are we will decay more and more. This regime dont have the money to move us forward in any way asthey have shown in the past 5 years, we have gone backwards on and off the pitch.

The only way forward for new investment/redevelopment/hope is a whole new broom

Yes you are right Reg

But at this present time and climate ANYTHING that increases communications and a viable vehicle forward I class as a positive

Probably the only way for the Board to regain any credibility would be to accept a Trust elected person to the Board.

This was something first mooted  5 years ago when the then Consortium regained control of the club.

To quote Bob Holt....."STT, has vigorously demonstrated it is determined to help the Club. Consequently The Consortium will seriously consider a position on the Board for STT."

He wouldn't go for that anyway would he Reg?  Surely he's got too much on his plate tory wise.  Maybe Paul D will get the nod...

...or perhaps STFCBart.

If you remember the minutes of the meeting then the consortium was conditional on various undertakings.

One of them being fans representation at board level Reg

So...............you are spot on !

In a previous incarnation I found myself voting against having a Trust member on the Board at an AGM...because the candidate was JT.

At least I would have voted that way, not sure it ever reached a vote.

If it did come to it then a proper democratic process needs to be undertaken.  I'd try and persuade Yeovil Red to stand.

For all FB's qualities as a human being.....not being a Trust member or going to games may present something of a credibility gap. If not  Yeovil, then Leroy off of MOS would be a strong candidate.

Hey, I've been to one game and although not a trust member I did go to the meeting last week. Does sound like a bit of an effort though.
