Reasons for putting together a fans consortium

1) We have much more chance of attracting a big investor. With the latest debacle behind us who the hell is going to invest and work with those currently runnig the club?

2) Surely at best this dunwoody business is  conflict of interest- i her we are going to have yet another Dunwoody employee Ban Lambert, future son in law of MD as CEO- very cosy

3) Red exile on my only swindon is right- Mike D would not pass the fit and proper persons test set down by the football league to be a director- maybe this is why he insists on not being on the board( as well as not being accountable)

4) The ground redevelopment is what the current board are waiting for- They have NO chance of this ever going ahead at the moment- the council will not work with them even more so now it is likely Mark D will be ousted as well. Much more chance of getting a new stadium with new owners/fan involvement

With the current status quo  we will remain stagnant and go backwards. No major investment will go into the core product (on the pitch) and tbh reading yesterdays statement i agre with Reg- looks like the board did welcome rlegation last year to cut costs.

I will always be eternally grateful to the Wills family for bailing us out time and time again- but maybe if they appointed people to run th club who knew what they were doing they would not need to constantly keep putting their hands in their pockets.

We definitley need this board to go as soon as possible no doubt about it, i hope that the trust can get this consortium organised asap.

I have lost all confidence in the board, i don't have a problem at all with the Wills family, obviously us fans are grateful for them saving the club but things cannot stay this way, it is time for the Wills family to let go and let someone else take over.

However i do feel that the statement released by James Wills the other day was pathetic in a way to be honest, he was slagging the fans off, i think that was a very big mistake and the fans won't forget it.

This board cannot work with anyone, no investor is going to want to come in until they are all out, SBC probably don't like dealing with them either maybe that's why they won't approve our ground plans, i feel that when new owners take over SBC might be more willing to help us out.

Sandy Gray has been very incompetent, she miscalculated our finances which is a very big mistake and she should have been sacked immediately but oh no the board wouldn't sack her, they just want to blame Mark Devlin for everything and make him a scapegoat, it is obvious to me that we won't be seeing Mr Devlin again, i think he will be sacked or forced to resign and i feel sorry for the man, he is a decent guy and the board have made a mockery of him.

Not all swindon fans want the trust to form a consortium but me personally i am with the trust on this one, i hope that they can get something sorted and get the board out, i would not have a problem with the Wills family staying on the board if a new consortium came in but all the others need to go without a doubt.

The board cannot blame anyone but themselves for these mistakes , like i have said before if they had any doubts about signing Paul Ince then they should have pulled the plug end of story, the board have created this mess themselves, if Diamandis and Power fell out then again it is their fault that he left as well, they cannot slag the fans off it is not on.

We have every right to have our say as fans, we have spent alot of money to watch the team and we have every right to know what is going on behind the scenes, we are also allowed to criticise if we want to, this board make mistakes and they expect us to say yeah it's ok we dont mind we aint going to criticise you, well thats not how things work and they are going to get alot of criticism if the Wills family walk away they walk away.

I believe that with this board in charge we will end up going under anyway, so why not oust them and hope someone comes in to save us? they have already proved that they cannot add up properly.

There probably are people who would like to take over or invest but are put off because of people on the board, i just hope that this board go as soon as possible.

We all back Wise, Poyet and the team obviously 110% i dread to think what Wise and Poyet must be thinking, i'm very surprised that they have not already walked, however if a consortium took over the club it may persuade Wise and Poyet to stay here for a couple of years who knows?
