Surely he knows some rich Sheikh dudes from his horse racing connections that would be interested in buying a football club??

id rather he didnt speak about our club.  The only two tiems Ive heard him talk were:

1. away to oxford in the FA Cup on the TV when he came across very badly.
2. To say if leeds want to talk to wise then he would be ok with it.

Ok to be fair if he can attract an investor id be well chuffed but honestly cant see it happening!

Thats not strickyl true, they love their football over there and spend alot of money on it, like giving 100,000's a week to over the hill players.

Hmmm might have to see if any of my friends in Eastern Europe know any rich russians. Soapy Tit Wank

I have actually tried to get a friend of the family to invest (he is a French multi-millionaire) but the answer was a swift "non merci" Crying

There is always a first time! Wasnt that long ago when you wouldnt have imagined a Russian Billionaire investing in a club that hadnt won a league trophy in 50 years!

And granted he isnt a sheikh but Al Fayed is a Camel Jockey. Soapy Tit Wank

I think some rich Sheikh's took quite an interest in football late 80's, early 90's and Messers Grobbalaer(sp?) and Fashanu made quite a tidy profit...

knowing our luck we'd end up with a penniless knob jockey, hang on a minute, we might already have one of those.

I don't like Carson but as chairman he doesn't have to take a day-to-day role in the running of the club. But I do think he needs to be more involved and he needs to stay out of the media because when he does get interviewed he comes across as an idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about (I wonder why?). Also, it's a bit patronising to fans who turn up on a regular basis when Willie-one-match appears on tv and represents them.

Silly Willie.
