It is in out best interests for all of us fans to get together in large numbers and push and push until this board is gone.

I do believe that if we pushed this board out then someone would step in and save us, i could be wrong but hopefully that would be the case.

Maybe Power would step back in and take control of the club, maybe honda would come back in or maybe some other big investor will step in to save us but we cannot carry on in this way because we will be left with no ambition, a shit team, a shit manager and the only way we will be going is down, down, down.

Im certainly not sticking up for the board and would be happy if the went but these current chinese whispers are getting completely out of hand.As far as im concerned  only two people can clear this up once and for all and thats Power or Devlin.Until either speak up Im accepting that Power has given up due to ill health.Nearly dieing is life changing,he has no real ties to the club I cant see why its so impossible to belive that he just thought "fuck it"?

Well that's the long and short of the rumours - which have been denied by the club today.

I'm with you - I've heard plenty from behind the scenes ... I even know some of it ... but despite this lot being clowns, give them their due, they've kept us afloat during some desperate times. Do we not remember nearly going bust?

I'm so sick of all that is going on right now. There are so many rumours and counter rumours that until I hear or see something like the statement today then I'm not going to believe it.

If we need to fight something needs to happen - nothing has happened yet.

Well we're painting this lot as hopeless - and I admit they probably aren't great - but they have had their moments and we shouldn't forget the fact they saved us.

That might have been then but if it wasn't for them there wouldn't be a now for Swindon Town ...

If you just read all of the club's statements as simple gospel truth, then of course there's nothing wrong except a bit of a cashflow problem.

The real issue is that a great deal of reading between the lines is needed to even get close to the truth, as so many things don't make sense - Power's sudden departure due to ill health but asking for his money back, Linda's sacking despite Wise offering to pay her wages.

I'm not claiming to have any huge inside knowledge but I've been told things from sources closer to the club than 99% of us and have no reason to distrust them.

The single most irksome issue of all is that of proof; namely that there is none either way and I doubt there ever will be. The club's official line won't falter in the slightest as more and more rumours emerge.
