Believe me it isnt

You will find more severe cutbacks inthe playing budgets year on year- leading to likely relegation which will mean the end of the club anyway

I'm sorry, but until I see concrete proof I suggest we don't believe a word of this nonsense.

Where's your proof of this?

Show me the proof and I'll believe you.

If the club state the money side is not as bad as it has been, and that it is 'manageable' then why are people bothered about it being over 60% for players with ince on board???
Is the whole point about everyone's upset not that they want the team to succeed???

I mean I know I certainly dont agree with a lot of whats happening at the minute, but Power or no Power, in fact even Wise or no Wise....at least all parties seem to be saying the same thing.......that they want to focus the budget more on the team than the rest....hence over 60% on the team and then cut back to less than 40% on the rest!

At the end of the day, unless some tycoon has an off day and mistakes us for a profitable company, or I win the lottery, we are not going to get an investor in any time soon, so surely their focus on the team should be the one shining light in an otherwise drastic mess???

SSW and co. arent prepared to invest more than the lifeline they have been supplying to us (for which we should still be very greatful!), so perhaps putting the Power thing aside (which for all we know could well be solely due to his health as he had said!) we should cut them some slack for now and see what the next month or so brings?

Us slagging off the only people who have stood up and saved this club, isnt going to keep Wise and co. nor is it going to encourage the team......so maybe the best thing to do would be to stop the speculation and get behind the team.....after all.... like the mighty Van Wilder said, "worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it doesnt get you anywhere!"

Lets just have a great away attandance at Wycombe, get behind the lads and show them that THEY are the reasons we go each week and we are right behind them!!!

To be fair, I've heard nothing that suggests a playing budget cutback this year.  That one would be a new one to me.

So would it not be logical then, that if no one intends to ct back on the playing budget, and that having heard from the board that they specifically want to focus spending on the team, that all still involved are working for the team to succeed this year and get us back up into league 1???
Following that, does that not show people that despite their differences of opinions on how the matters are run, that the club as a whole are doing what they deem best to help the team achieve.

Bare in mind also that without an investor stepping in, the best source of inmcone we could hope for is promotion and thats what our how club is geared towards this year!

I am not so pesimistic about the situation, dont get me wrong i'm not in full agreement with current ongoings, but i dont see reason for mass concern at this stage......am I wrong?

apart from the fact they twice allude to "Executives" and "Chief Exectuive" with regards to the budget for expenditure, and an internal investigation going on (although again we know from statements of both sides that Devlin has not been talked to or been at work).

People may think people like me are stirring, although given my past 12 months I'm not sure why I'd sudenly do that, but some the "rumours" suggested that Devlin was about to be placed in a position where he could be dismissed or forced to resign.  That does not seem to be happening (combined this statement with 2 previous ones about Devlin's actions).

There is also a clear mention of the form the investment took not being agreed by either party.  Sounds like the stuff of good friends that.  Ok, Power would undoubtably taken stock after the crash, by why would he not just pull out but also request his money back (which he'll know has been spent so it means someone finding 1.2m for him if he is right and not the club)

To all the cynics, the team WILL be put on life support under Dunwoody. The next available opportunity will be the january window.

Look at summer 04-late 06, the last time they ran the club. They see no sense in investing in the football team anymore and have no intention to, even SSW as said that he wasnt prepared to put anymore money in to strengthen (which is a FACT, BTW).

So while you are all feeling smug about how poor STFCBart's grammar is, he will be prooved mostly correct (again), and we will all be left with a shit team (again).

It is in out best interests for all of us fans to get together in large numbers and push and push until this board is gone.

I do believe that if we pushed this board out then someone would step in and save us, i could be wrong but hopefully that would be the case.

Maybe Power would step back in and take control of the club, maybe honda would come back in or maybe some other big investor will step in to save us but we cannot carry on in this way because we will be left with no ambition, a shit team, a shit manager and the only way we will be going is down, down, down.
