Do not want Fry within 100 miles of this club
Reason he pulled out of peterboro(smaller club) was that he could not take them any further. What good in that case would he be to us

Like i said earlier in the week, Good Ol' Sandy Gray wants shot of both Devlin and Sullivan.
The decent thing would be for her to fuck off right now and leave Football matters to people who know what they're doing, she's just a mumbling embarrassment.

I think the assumption that Devlin could be sacked is probably a fair one, but that's just it - could be sacked. Obviously the club would be saving themselves money if he were to leave.
However, equally the board may look at Devlin and think 'wow, he got us an investor; he's a good PR man; he knows what he is doing football wise. Let's not forget he was voted in as a director by this board.
My only fear is that the board take a short-term view to save themselves a few quid. But until it happens I won't moan about the board.
I get the feeling (personally) that Power decided at some point after the crash (probably quite recently) he didn't want to be involved in the club due to ill health. Probably up until that point he had promised to make up any shortfalls in the finances necessary to give STFC the best chance of promotion/build for a future. All of these meetings etc. probably haven't been to mend a rift, but to persuade Power to stay on. Dare I say I can actually buy the ill health story because Power or his representatives haven't made any press statements, suggesting to me that he wants to keep his head down and focus on rebuilding his life.
Of course it could just be that the relationship has turned sour after Power tried to increase his shareholding, but the timing would be a little bizarre considering he's still recovering from the crash.

i don't want to bang on about knowing more than anyone else etc, but what i do know is that i've been told from a reliable source that devlin is as good as gone - whether he's been pushed or has walked, i don't know.

and now it seems the story begins to unravel as RS just mentioned Power wanting his money back with a dispute over whether it's shares (clubs view) or a loan. The fact the club "believe" it to be shares, suggests issues.
Devlin is 99% likely to be sacked I think. I'll never guarntee anything in football, but it seems almost a done deal.

Of course it could just be that the relationship has turned sour after Power tried to increase his shareholding I don't see these statements as naive. I'm still surprised Power hasn't released a statement or made some sort of contact with the fans. Unless of course he is too unwell.

I dont think Bill would have left us so suddenly and so completely if it had been ill health. The bloke has severed ALL ties with STFC. :shake:
Why invest all that money, then pull out in less than a week, even if you are very ill. The Ince signing just doesnt make sense.

None of it really makes sense, which is why all this second guessing is going on. Until Devlin/Power tell us what happened exactly this is all we can do.
Maybe when Power has recovered a bit more he might tell the fans (he did wait a bit with the QPR fans to tell them what went on). But I highly doubt we'll find out through him. He seems to have just disappeared never to be seen again.
