The impression I got is that the property developers make money by getting the land cheaper than normal. I don't know if that is fact though.

The impression I got is that the property developers make money by getting the land cheaper than normal. I don't know if that is fact though. No, it isn't. Property developers make money by adding value to the materials they build with. As in: New CG Hotel & Conference Centre costs £xxxM to design and build New CG Hotel & Conference Centre sells at £xxxM + y% In a CG redevelopment the land would be leased and the new facilities would be leasehold, so the land doesn't come into it anyway. In the case of the Front Garden or Shaw then the cost of buying the land would be be part of the development cost. All this assumes that the market can afford to pay the marked up price for a new property (if whatever form - houses, offices, hotels etc).

if we were to protest, it should be as one....l&p, supporters club, trust...and regular fans....
if anything it should be trust branded, they are certainly more involved within the club than the other lot... i assume by "the other lot" you're not referring to the supporters club, otherwise you're seriously wide of the mark. otherwise i agree.

This board know absolutely nothing about football, and now they are on the verge of sackin Devlin/Sullivan (forcing them to walk)
It is blatantly obvious that the reason power left was because of tenion- mainly caused by Diamandis who desperately wants to hold in there to make some money from SSW should the new ground get the go ahead
These are facts my friends. He is a non-dirctor, totally unaccountable but yet he is makng some shocking decisions daily on a subject he knows nothing about.
Losing Devlin will be an absolute disaster. No WAY in this world will Wise work under the remining board members, of course it will be all hushed up/theblame diverted away from Diamandis as usual
