Think Starlight Express finished a few years ago?! I sent my ex and her mum to the last show (in the West End anyway).

Chicago was very good Chris.

If you want a nice easy one that you're guaranteed to get tickets to just by walking up to the show 2 hours before.

Blood Brothers at the Phoenix Theatre

Great show, good music and easy going. We bought £10 tickets for the back of the circle. Got in and the circle was empty, so we moved to the front row on the balcony (£30 places). Brilliant night.

The daddy's a year ago were, We Will Rock You and The Lion King, but you'll struggle for tickets.

FYI Starlight Express was the best ever. I went twice in a year to see it. Why they ever shut it....

Blood Brothers at the Phoenix is crap!!!

Was much better when they did it in Bristol/Bath as it was a different company. The actors could actually put on scouse acents in that one which helped! In London it was poor

I'd have to be absoluely hammered to stand any chance of enjoying a musical and even then that would be pushing it.

You'd also be skint. I pre-ordered 2 double vodkas and coke for the interval at Chicago - £26!
