I think our midfield should be (right to left):

Weston Ince Evans Brown/Caton.

Depends what Westons crossing ability is like.

As much as Shakes works hard, as much as he puts in brilliant defensive work....he still cant cross it well enough.

If Weston can, then he should played ahead of Ricky in that position

Correct there is no need to panic, but you would like a winger who could cross the ball.

admittedly i didn't go to the game today but i still maintain that it's ok for us to say he should cross the ball but he very rarely gets the ball anywhere near where would be a good crossing position. to my mind he's gotten to the byline once where there hasn't been two defenders stood right next to him and he got in a fucking peach (at chester)

i'm under no illusions, he's not the best. but as has been pointed out loads of times, if he could run with the ball very fast and then put in a ball he wouldn't be playing one step off non league

For the effort he puts in, you can't drop him. He's an inspiration, if not particular skilled.
It'd send a bad message if he was dropped - ie play hard for the team, get dropped.

Me too!
Weston is a central midfielder not a winger. If he played out wide he would be likely to get drawn into the middle and expose the right back.

And can you seriously see Ince and Evans playing 90 minutes week in week out together?

To throw one into the argument - I think Weston should be dropped, I think he's been the weakest player so far...
