Even if you do manage to play on the same table as your brother, the sites have software that spot collaborative play.

Almost every online poker room monitors IP addresses. If you connect through the same network you won't be able to play in the same room.

If it's just demo money though, i know party poker and pacific poker used to allow it and you can cheat the system, although pointless on demo.

http://www.pokerroommate.com/

There's a good free program for odds. It also has autocapture mode

Isn't there free software out there that allows you to change an ip address?

Someone on here has knowledge of this iirc.  Hide

Unless the poker software has an option to enter details for a proxy server it would not work

Me and my old flatmate used to play on Ladbrokes off the same IP in our apartment.  What site are you playing Bob?

Calculatem is the best I've come across but you can no longer even pay for it you have to open an account and play x number of blinds.

My license ran out recently and I tried to hack the fucker and got a nasty virus as a reward.

I don't think you can hack calculatem. I tried and if the codes are accepted autocapture still doesn't work  Sad

Pokerroomate works just as well though, but only gives you odds rather than telling you whether to call/raise/fold

I managed it over 12 months back but failed dismally this time round so had to sign up to party poker to play 500 hands.

That pokerroommate sounds quite handy, I think I get far too reliant on the advice at times and if I’m not switched on it leads to costly cock ups.

I don't really bother with any odds things now, I find them too distracting but they are really useful as long as you don't over-rely in them
