...but we won. I'll certainly take that, Wise is switched on enough to know that wasnt perfect and I'm sure the players know full well there is room for improvement. 3 wins out of 3

Winning without performing well....sign of a good team? Perhaps not, but as DV said Wise is switched on enough and will hopefully be 'wise' enough to change things.
I think deep down although not happy with the perfomances, he'll be appy with 9 points this early on in the season.

I dont think we were shit, just below par 1st half and average 2nd half. Rochdale put 5 in midfield to stifle the game and make us play long balls, it mainly worked 1st half. We were still comfortably the better team, and at this stage of the season I'm happy with that. Expectation levels seem to be ridiculously high at the moment, and its getting on my nerves a bit. We didnt play very well and could have won 4-0

Im not fussed.

Why do you need to make us play long balls, it's what comes naturally

Good in parts-but the parts were few.Pook was awful,Curt looked good .Smith was ok today but Peacock was m.o.m for me.Undecided about Vincent on the twogames I've seen so far, doesnt seem too hot on defensive "awareness"-bit of a ball-watcher for me.If Roberts finishing matched his effort, would have been a 9/10.Evans looked tidy and Ifil's defending was spot on,unlike his distribution, one fly-hack into the Nationwide was priceless!

Still three wins on the bounce when was the last time we pulled that off?
Players and manager post match all thought they were under par and when Wise gets himself fit and if Ince turns up we'll be having them run for cover.
Think we'll see a lot of teams go the same way as Rochdale this season and try and stifle the game in the middle but provided we keep pulling them out of the bag we'll be laughing.
Still looking back 12 months it’s a fucking godsend.

If Ince signs we will have a great midfield, and come on we have conceded ONE goal in THREE games.
As long as we can learn to take a few more chances we will be laughing. That's the only reason Walsall are top of the league - they have scored more!
We are 2nd in the league and people are complaining!!! Good old Swindon

Im not complaining just saying what I think.Im as happy as anyone with 9 pts.Dont agree about the Ince bit, personally I think all this Ince speculation is unsettling-a central midfield consisting of 2 of Wise/Evans/Curt would be plenty good enough

In our next game, presuming we sign Ince, i wouldnt mind seeing Weston out on the right wing, Ince inside of him, partnering either Wise or Evans with Brown out on the left (Purely because Monkhouse was poor today and feel maybe Brown will take this oppotuinity to claim a place in the team). That midfield would be brilliant against a team such as Darlington (Yes i am aware they got stuffed today...)
