I was going, but couldn't get the time off work, bastards.
We haven't won the first home game of the season since Parkin's hat-trick... and all the others have finished with us losing 3-2 (Sheff Wed, Luton & Oldham) so fingers crossed for a change!

I'll go for a 2-0 win - but its not going to be easy - they've got some half decent players. Graz's record with them is unbelievable, albeit in the Conference. I was dead impressed with Dean Sinclair on't telly last year too in centre mid. Nick bailey's supposed to be useful too.
Not a stroll in the park by any means.

BBC says Wise is starting with the same team that won at Hartlepool.
Erm, why? Wasn't it clear enough for everyone to see that Hartlepool walked past Weston and Pook every time?

I don't buy into this HPool being so tough stuff....they've lost some useful players and not replaced them and were generally poor last season hence why they were relegated. I fully expect Darlo to be a team up there at the end of the season.....still think we're "work in progress" not sure DW can wave a wand at some of last season's wasters and conjure quality from them

Having watched the Palace game I am convinced the ability is there to go up.
It is just a case of performing properly and at 100% throughout the year, which is so often the undoing of STFC. Hartlepool are probably ONE OF the better teams in this league so an away win all the way up there is as encouraging as the away support was! We just have to be tight defensively and I am sure with the Robocock partnership we can be clinical up front.
Tonight is a game we should win no matter how good Barnet are. If they play well i will accept whatever the result is but I would expect 3 points if in DW's position
