Click the two little arrows at the bottom of the "Tools" menu - you should get all the options then

just randomly had a butchers on the outlook on my mum's laptop and I don't get the out of office thingy in the tool menu either. I checked by asking that bloody paperclip and it said to to the same thing you people have been saying.

It's probably the way outlook has been set up or something. I'll have a bit of a play but I'll probably get bored so I'm not promising anything.

OOA is available only if you connect to Microsoft Exchange Server.

I'm bored now but it might mean you possibly can't do it.

I haven't a clue mate, I use a mac with entourage as the email thingy. If Land of Bo says it can't be done though, it probably can't as he's a mega geek Cheesy

Can't you just stick a post-it note on your monitor that says 'back in two weeks'?

People will get the jist soon enough! :|

The Out of Office Assistant command does not appear unless you are using an Exchange Server e-mail account and you are in the Mail view.

The help function is usually quite helpful!

Um, actually realised I didn't post a potential solution though  Doh

What type of email account is it (Yahoo etc)?

Usually if you log on online you can sort it out through the options there. It'll be called something like holiday message.
