"Dennis Wise will sign former Millwall front man Carl Asaba as soon as wages/terms can be agreed,in addition Dion Dublin will sign a one year deal with Swindon next week"

This is from the Football rumours site, so obviously I take it with a pinch of salt, but still thought it was worth posting  Cheesy

Well the only thing which makes these rumours believeable is the fact that Devlin said we were/are in negotions with a a well known player.  I guess Dublin fits that bill, and Asaba to an extent.

He must be late 30's at least; didn't he play for Celtic last season or am I imagining that?

Thanks; thought he was older; seems to have been around for a long time as I remember him playing for Cambridge in the early 90's before Man U signed him.
