Been enlisted as a scout to help out the manager former Sunderland player Alex Rae.

No indicators if it's permanent or not though.

He's an ace scout no doubt about it. Last season he didn't really have much to go on did he, limited resources and all.

Noticed one of today's redtops has linked King and Mick Harford as a possible management duo at Colchester!  Bet Jamie Cureton would be chuffed if that happened.
