And Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was seen out for lunch with Dennis Wise just hours after it was confirmed Middlesborough will not be offering the 34 year old a new deal....

"Christian Ronaldo will sensationaly quit Manchester United by the end of this week and snub Spanish giants Real Madrid favouring a move to League 2 side, Swindon Town. Ronaldo spent Monday afternoon thrashing out contract arrangements with Swindon boss Dennis Wise who is keen to get his man. It is believed Swindon have offered £125,000 for the Man Utd star but the Old Trafford club are seeking at £20 Million. Ronaldo was quoted as saying " I hope something can be sorted out as I just want to get on and play football. This is a new beginning for me and a club this size should at least be challenging for promotion. The training facilities are superb and the stadium is fantastic. There are some decent players here that I can learn from like Ricky Shakes and Christian Roberts and I can't wait for the new season. Alex Ferguson was unavailable for comment this morning."

It could happen - Bill Power's money, Dennis Wise's pulling power. And those training facilities as well, it wouldn't surprise me!

No way when we cannot compete with Oxford for a player I think you're wrong. I think we pulled out of the Hutchinson deal when Dennis heard about Ronaldo's availability.

Can we sign the real (fat) Ronaldo as well. We need a new striker and he wants out of Real.
Imagine it, 2 Ronaldos. One for week days, one for Sunday best.
