I dont think it is for a 3rd division footballer.
Then I dont know what they earn to be honest.Im sure there are plenty on here who earn more than the average 3rd div player though and I bet they still struggle for money. Not sure where it came from but a couple of years ago Scott Taylor was the highest paid player at Blackpool on £800 a month

Just saying the costs to live today have gone up, wasnt being flash at all, well wasnt meant to be. I used to have a mortgage etc and car on 800 a month but as you get older your outgoings go up and sharpish. I think most people would struggle to live on 800 a month (unless your living at home)

Yes but I still had to pay rent you baboon I get your point, but the point I'm trying to make is that you don't HAVE to have a flash car and a mortgage.

No I could walk to work and live on the street. Just because you don't have a mortgage doesn't mean you don't have somewhere to live. £800 a month isn't really much to live off, but I do know people that aren't students who do live on that after tax and NI etc. Footballers get payed tax free usually, so where £800 is quoted, that's after tax.

I think I will admit I have lost this arguement, but just to try and get in the last word I cant live at hom so id have to rent somewhere so 800 wouldnt cover that. (I will now wait for si pies sarky reply , actually I will check tomoz as off to cinema now)
