Rideout did fairly well playing in the English and Italian top leagues as well as getting an FA Cup winners medal.

you could say fitzroy simpson as he went on to captain his country i think and was in a world cup.
mcloughlin scored the goal to equalize against northern ireland (jimmy quinn scored for n ireland) and that meant his goal sent rep ireland to usa 94...thats bloody big when you think about it.

Maybe not 'great' things, but at least better things !:
Tim Flowers - Represented country Shay Given - Represented country Fraser Digby - Must have won something with Palace ? Peter Eastoe - Must have won something at QPR & Everton ? Chris Kamara - Won Premier League with Leeds ? Roy Wegerle - USA international (29 goals in 41 games) Jimmy Quinn - N. Ireland stallwart Alan McLaughlin - Rep Ireland Lou Macari - Managed W.Ham and Celtic David Thompson - Scored in UEFA Cup for Blackburn Danny Blanchflower - N. Ireland international Jan Aage Fjortoft - Norwegian international Tony Warner - Must have won something with Liverpool ! Mike Summerbee - England international Fitzroy Simpson - Represented country Peter Noble - Anglo Scottish Cup winner with Burnley !

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Bodin who fucked up Wales' chances of qualifying for the '94 World Cup good and proper by missing a penalty against some one or other.

Ernie was Swindon boy....Rideout, despite growing up in Swindon wasn't born here.
