Having looked in my PC i have noticed i don't have room for a second Hard Drive. The bracket holding it in at the moment is only big enough for one Hard Drive. my computer is a Dell 2400.

So i have 3 options really.

1, See if i can get a bigger bracket so that 2 can fit in (not sure dell or anyone else does this sort of thing???)

2, Buy a larger Hard Drive (120 or 160gb) and transfer all my data etc from my old to the new. Is this easy to do??? Guy in PC world was talking bollox when he said copy everything off your existing on to disc and then copy accross to new.
I have 40 fucking gb full of shit. I'm not copying it all onto disc cos it will take ages. Surley there is an easier way.

or 3, Buy an external one but how good/reliable are these etc???

do the external jobby mate, got one a few months ago on whits' superb advice and it's worked out a treat.

i got myself a 200gb hd and the case for about £100 altogether i think, no problems at all.

cheapest hard drives at the time were here:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Disk_Drives_14.html

and case from here:

http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=164982

i think, whits should be able to verify.
