Maybe Magic's the best person to ask about this, but is it any good shopping wise? Is it worth the trip up, or is it worth going to somewhere like Bluewater?

I thought it had got knocked down....on checking, it was then rebuilt.
I recall going to an away game at Fellows Park in 66, as a youth, and going to the brand spanking new Bull Ring....which was of course state of the art 60's brutalist architecture.
Quite exciting for Swindon boy.....this was a time when buying a pair of Levi's was not possible in Swindon..
We got beat 5-0...3 down in 15 minutes, some things don't change.

Ta. to be honest i think the bullring is ace. it is massive and is full of nearlly every shop you need. some top stores in there for clothes too. much better than what it was years ago and the rest of the centre has improved 300% compared to what it was like 15 years ago and it's still improving well worth the trip |

if it's during the day you wont have a problem.
if your coming from swindon get off at J4 of M5 and head North up the A38(Bristol Road).
that road will take ou straight into the centre and signs for the Bullring will be everywhere.
Might be worth heading over to the Mail Box for some designer shops and a few nice resturants for lunch etc. Only a 10 min walk away.

The only time I've been shopping in Birmingham was at the NEC fashion weekend. I must go shopping there properly one day. Although I tend to do mine in either Bath or Bristol. Bristols very good for shopping. I got tonnes of bargains in primarks the other weekend  |
