Another Dan Brown one, Angels and Demons, similar to Da Vinci, but better. Just finshed Brown's "Deception Point" - fucking brill. Read that one too. Good book. I have one more by him in the book shelf, Digital Fortress, but heard its tripe, so haven't started yet. I thought Digital Fortress was great! Da Vinci Code better though.

Agreed i thought Angels and Demons pretty much was the Da Vinci code with a few names and places changed, Digital Fortress is class finished it in a few days proper page turner. Also the Broker by John Grisham was a quality book imo

I thought Stephen Fry summed up The Da Vinci Code perfectly when he refered to it as 'arse dribble'. Sorry to be a literary snob like, I just can't help it.
I'd recommend The Plot Against America by Phillip Roth, a fictional account of his childhood in an America that stays out of the Second World War and moves towards Fascism. So well written you could be forgiven for believing it had actually happened, and with a conclusion that you would never see coming.

Sussex, have you read any of Cass Pennant's other books? Not yet, but I'd recommend 'Soul Crew' by David Jones and Tony Rivers. (We need that boxing emoticon on here!)
