BWB - My previous reply got lost on the previous page so here we go again.

What exactly does 'What goes around comes around' mean?

1. In general - I've never really understood what the hell it means.

2. In particular - How does it apply to Arsenal?

what goes around comes around.

Can anyone actually explain exactly what that means?
In this case I'm just taking the piss as it's what Fatbury said when Arsenal finished above Spurs. Fuck knows what he meant.

Unlucky that for the Arse, I thought they may just have had it in sight tonight and then Barca scored.

Second goal was always guaranteed but a slight shame it was lucky effort, Arse could probably have seen a bit more opportunity on the counter at 1-1.  As soon as that second effort went in Barca sat back and took the piss in the possession stakes.

Ref was all over the place as well nothing to much in the way of a major faux par but a bit fucked all the same.

Finally, good to see twinkle toes pair Sol and Cole both have solid games tonight.

Just curious as to why so many people wanted barca to win? Dont want to start an argument but surely them being an english team (english fans) means u want them to win?

Barca would have beaten any side in Europe tonight even Swindon.

I personally wanted the Arse to win, I love that Anglo/French man love thing they have going on. I think they are cool. I also think Terry Henry is the coolest man on the planet.

Also, I am not the biggest fan of Cole or Campbell but they were both excellent tonight - FACT!

i don't like barca cos i'm a plastic real madrid 'glory supporter' but i don't see why people shoul dget behind arsenal because they're english.

if it was chelsea or liverpool, i'd feel differently as they've got more of an english core but arsenal's team is just full of players from france and their colonies

Liverpool only had 2 English players in their side last season.

Liverpool didn't have many English players and I would have preferred they had more when they won but their success was built upon their key player and captain Gerrard who is English and another of their key players Carragher was also English. Arsenal in the champions league have often had a team with no English players at all.

the ref was abysmal, if only he'd waited a second to see the advantage it would have been an even better match probably.

thierry was steaming in the post-match interview, wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he got a fine for that.

as daz says, asher c and sol looked good though, which is good news for england.

thierry was off to a flyer though (although he should have put a chance away), thats got to be his last match in an arsenal shirt. and how pissed off was pires at losing his final too!?
