I don't remember Iffy playing much this season. Good idea this I think, still hoping we'll get Holloway, I read he was on £180k at qpr which would be out of our league but not out of Bill Power's. King was on £100k so that dosnt really add up Not sure what you mean? £180k is a hell of a lot more than £100k, £100k is the average managers wage for league one, King was on a bit less.

Pardew was also very unpopular at West Ham until this year too. Just shows fans can be wrong, apart from maybe Redknapp Pardew has to be manager of the year for this premiership season.

Iffy needs to go. End of story.
Iffy was in charge of roughly 36 league matches last season, yet still claims he should be judged on the coming seaons efforts. Fair enough he inherited a pretty crap team, where morale was low etc. However it seems clear that the majority of the players who got us relegated last season seem to be staying this season, otherwise Iffy wouldnt be renewing the contracts on Nicholas, Jenkins, Shakes, Platt etc.
The matter of the fact is, iffy had over 3/4's of a season to save us from relegation, yet failed to achieve safety. In my eyes, the likes of Holloway, Wise and other managers with more experience probably would have kept us in league 1.
What frightens me is, Iffy seems to be offering a large amount of contracts to players who helped swindon get relegated. Why should we suddenly believe that with the addition of 2-4 new sqaud/team members, as well as keeping the bulk of players who helped swindon get relegated; we will suddenly be a promotion chasing team.
I think if we keep Iffy next season, we will be a midtable team at best

With Bill Powers investment, if he wants a better manager (such as Holloway) I'm sure he could stump up the extra wages. In context the £80k difference would be roughly 1 player at the higher end of our wage budget

When pressed Devlin said Holloway was a def no because of the money I think. He did also say Iffy wasn't 100% certain as Manager for next season yet at the same time, so I'd accept what he said on that basis given the news leaking out last night and today around Wise.
Rumour links Holloway with Yeovil at the mo as well.
Rumour's, lovely, it's what the summer is all about.

Quite. He clearly failed the task that he was set (keeping the club up). I think that the club is actually being quite decent in giving him an interview, and a chance to explain himself.
