Dave is right, cant play Lamps and Gerrard in the same team....means one has to shelve their game for the other one...

It's the perfect opportunity to put Carrick in and push Gerrard on, what with Rooney being out(seeing as he'd never drop golden balls).  Still he's already come out and said if Rooney doesn't make it he'll probably play Crouch and Owen together Doh

Gerrard & Carrick in the centre for me.

Lampard and Gerrard dont play well in the middle together so i'd drop Lampard.

my ideal team would be with 3 centre backs ..we have arguably the best midfeild in the world so why dont we maximise that?? even more so in about two years everyone slags off gary neville but anyone actually see any decent replacements coming through
