a big steak and ale pie. It's in the oven. I rock. I even made a puff pastry cow saying moo on the top. That's possibly the most important factor in pie making.

I second that - photo please.
I've decided I'm going to eat lots of pie next week, I haven't consumed many in the last month or so. The Pie Gods will not be pleased.
I have every faith that your pie related activities will restore some balance in the pie-space continuum though.

I made a caeser salad followed by a chicken Tikka and garlic and herb wrap for lunch.
Something in the air today?
I haven't made much more than bacon in the past week.

Just ate a healthy slice of pie and it was good.
Pics to follow soon. Just noticed they somewhat highlight the state of our oven. Nice.
Could be dazza. I've eaten nothing but fry-ups all weekend. Did cook a chicken and mushroom pie last week so it could be that I've just caught the pie making bug.

Superb.
Considering we invented the pie this country needs better pies, Australia puts us to shame.
Tomorrow I want a steak and cheese please Ben preferably mature cheddar.

Ben your cooker is filthy. I suggest you clean it or you'll get germs all over your loverly pies.

We cleaned it up just after christmas. It's not as if I put food directly onto the dirt.

Nope pure pie action. It's the only way. The pie did contain some mushrooms though.

Fair enough! I bought a big steak and ale pie on Friday but forgot to bring it home after work. Found it in the work fridge this morning, but it's gone out of date
