Crystal Palace were relegated to the old Third Division because Malcolm Allison kept on changing his team around, yet they had outstanding players by old Division Two standards.  They went from First to Third because they sacked Bert Head who had turned the corner, and allowed "Champagne Charlie" to meddle with the team.

Iffy, if you haven't read the Book of Clough at least read Don's book.

Read that on hols last year - cracking read. Helped me prove to a Napoli fan that we did actually play and beat them at their gaff ..

Was a good book, no scandal or anything but good to read about the 10 yrs he played for Swindon.

Looking forward to reading John Trollope's book when I get that.

On the official website, the club shop have it for 12.50

Surprised Amazon don't have it, they have John Trollope's book on there.
