Okay, I'm sad like this, so I err wrote down all the football matches I've ever been to.  I've only been to 29 Swindon matches!   Oops

Not a bad record considering I only passed my test last November (2003) and I live in Sussex....

Premiership

None
Championship

Loftus Road - QPR
Vicarage Road - Watford
Withdean Stadium - Brighton
League One

Ashton Gate - Bristol City
County Ground - Swindon Town
Dean Court - Bournemouth
Griffin Park - Brentford
Kenilworth Road - Luton
Layer Road - Colchester United
League Two

Adams Park - Wycombe
Nene Park - Rushden & Diamonds
Roots Hall - Southend United
Sat in the Town End unless otherwise stated.

Games I have been to so far in 2004/05 season:

Colchester United vs. Swindon Town 1-0 (Parkin) Sat. 4th September
Swindon Town vs. Bradford City 1-0 (Igoe) Sat. 25th September
Swindon Town vs. Torquay United 3-3 (Parkin, Igoe, Howard) Sat. 30th October (sat in Arkells)
Bournemouth vs. Swindon Town 1-2 (O'Hanlon) Sat. 18th December
Swindon Town vs. Colchester United 0-3 Sat. 1st January
Brentford vs. Swindon Town 1-2 Sat. 22nd January (Smith)
Games I intend to go to during rest of the season:<UL>

Fulham vs. Newcastle United, Sat. 12th February
Luton Town vs. Swindon Town, Sat. 12th March
Franchise vs. Swindon Town, Fri 25th March
Swindon Town vs. Bristol City, Mon 28th March
Swindon Town vs. Chesterfield, Sat. 7th March

Kind of depressing, thinking there are just four more Swindon games I will watch this season, unless by some miracle we make the playoffs.  I guess I didn't see many games at the start of the season which I definitely would have gone to because of Australia.  I could go to the Stockport game at the weekend, but the way we are playing at the moment and lack of funds mean I probably won't.

Games I went to in 2003/04 Season:

Swindon Town vs. Sheff. Wed 2-3 (Miglioranzi, Igoe) Sat. 9th August (sat in Nationwide)
Swindon Town vs. Blackpool 2-2 (Mooney 2) Sat. 30th August (sat in Arkells)
Brighton vs. Swindon Town 2-2 (Parkin 2) Sat. 6th September
Bristol City vs. Swindon Town 1-2 (Mooney) Sat. 4th October
Swindon Town vs. Port Vale 0-0 Sat. 25th October (sat in Nationwide)
Swindon Town vs. Plymouth Argyle 2-3 (Fallon, Parkin) Sat. 13th December
Rushden & Diamonds vs. Swindon Town 0-2 Sat. 26th December
Swindon Town vs. Brighton 2-1 (Parkin, Miglioranzi) Sat. 28th December
Swindon Town vs. Rushden & Diamonds 4-2 (Mooney, Gurney, Duke, Fallon) Sat. 7th February>
Swindon Town vs. Barnsley 1-1 (Parkin) Sat. 27th March
Swindon Town vs. Bristol City 1-1 (Fallon) Sat. 10th April
Luton Town vs. Swindon Town 3-0 (Hewlett, Fallon 2) Mon. 12th April
Wycombe vs. Swindon Town 3-0 (Miglioranzi, Parkin, Gurney PEN) Sat. 17th April
Swindon Town vs. Oldham 1-2 (Fallon) Sat. 24th April
QPR vs. Swindon Town 0-1 Sat. 1st May
Swindon Town vs. Hartlepool 1-1 (Igoe) Sat. 8th May
PLAYOFF SEMI FINAL LEG 1: Swindon Town vs. Brighton 0-1 (sat in Nationwide)
PLAYOFF SEMI FINAL LEG 2: Brighton vs. Swindon 2-1 (Parkin, Fallon)

Games I went to in 2002/03 Season:

Swindon Town vs. Oldham 0-1 Sat. 5th October
Swindon Town vs. Mansfield 2-1 (Parkin, Sabin) Sat. 26th October
Swindon Town vs. Wycombe 0-3 Sat. 15th February
Swindon Town vs. Plymouth 2-0 (Invincibile, Parkin)

Other Games:

Crystal Palace vs. Millwall 3-1
Watford vs. Crystal Palace 3-3

I didn't remember all that, I checked it on official site!  Okay, so I have seen:

Number of Games: 29
Number of Wins: 9
Number of Draws: 7
Number of Defeats: 13
Number of Swindon Goals: 38
Number of Parkin Goals: 11

Ouch looks like I'm a bit of a jinx.  That is a very poor record, considering the majority of games were during Swindon's play-off season of 2003/04.  That is also counting the 2-1 result at the Brighton playoff as a win, although Swindon eventually lost on penalties.

If you're worried about being a Jonah......that safely rests with my younger son, who's not much interested in football......the first match I persuaded him to go to was Stevenage in the FA Cup.

Quite rightly he questioned my sanity......and he never bothered again until Boxing Day 2003, when he had no choice but to come to Rushden or sit in the car.

Sometimes wish I'd done something like that, but I've got no real idea  how many I've been to because although some stick out as memorable for whatever reason, others don't, like this season v Doncaster.

Whereas the Shef Wed will be remembered for years to come.

If you were to include the LDV last night though, that would make it 30. Understandably you don't want to do that though!

D'oh yeh forgot about Southend - and yes Sussex, I am well up for the Luton game as it was a fantastic game last year, and a very good atmosphere.

I've had a few away wins - Colchester this season, Luton and Wycombe season before that....

I think I've been to about 250 Swindon matches, just over 200 at home.

Best away games were QPR and Tottenham in the premiership.

well... duno how many games exactly... but been going for about 9 years to nearly every home game... and making about 20 away (only started going away often last season and this so not bad!)
23 games at home each season makes 207. So more likely to be about 180-200.
And the period in which i have supported swindon has had basically no point of winning anything, except when i saw us lift the second div title. So anything bad that happens is just 'again' to me!
