just thought i'd share with you all that my lad had his end of year,resign or release meeting with his coach tonight.
was given a glowing report,and aims to work on.
has been kept on.well chuffed.

nice one mate. This is where i pull out my story of stardom now, sorry
Had a town scout watching our Chippenham game (yes i played for chippenscum, calne didn't have a youth team then) and the coach told us he was watching us all as we were top of our league etc...i was playing well, scored and setup a goal (played left wing) got took out and buggered my knee for 3 months. Got a phone call few days later from my coach saying 'sorry mate, they were gunna pick you but you got your injury now so they've gone with someone else' that guy they picked got chucked out last year (He was with like the Chris Allen year group) so yeh, that was how close i was to my dream. Never got contacted again and now always have knee troubles when playing....Poor Johno.
thats the most i have ever written and i wouldn't be surprised if no one read it.

probably bullshit to be honest johno from your coach.my lad was on trial for 6 weeks until they made a decision,as is the norm.sorry
they never rush a decision on a player

well no, i mean this was to be selected for the trials and they only decided to take the one player from our team as they take players from loads of teams.
