The opportunity has arisen for me to move back to Brighton where I spent 4 very enjoyable years at Uni.
I was gutted to leave but I thought it would be better financially to live rent-free for a while. This back-fired miserably as I spent months without work.
Moving back is risky because money’s tight at the moment but I’ve got a job to walk into whenever I want, albeit on a lower wage.
Should I go with the gut and move back regardless of the consequences.
Or should I stick with the head and keep plugging away in the job market up here?

Hmmmm, i spent many enjoyable weekend down in Brighton when the ex-wife was at uni there for the past few years (you probably shagged her while i was back here). It's a great place with a lot more things on offer entertainment -wise. It was a bit expensive though, and housing/rent appeared to be pretty hefty.

If you can afford to live and have a laugh at the same time, why not go for it? if it all goes tits up, you come back here rent free. You might regrent not trying it.

Definitely Brighton - much better job prospects, people don't have webbed fingers and it's generally less depressing!   :|
