Poll Question: Is currently held by Willy Carson, a man who has publicly admitted that his involvement with the club is little more than a financial mistake. As such, he manages to devote a big fat 0% of his time working to further the clubs interests. He only wants his money back.
I would like to ask; should Carson be replaced as the "figurehead" of the club by someone willing to devote at least a few hours a week to working on the clubs behalf?

Talking of paying off.. we owe AK 63,000 as we haven't paid his wages the last 7 months as we can't afford it.

I love the way supporters constantly attack the people who have actually invested in the club.
I voted no.

I understand that Willie does very little but then he's only asked to do very little by the management.
so i voted no too.

I voted undecided.
That should really say "couldnt give a shit" as Carson is not paid to do owt so him doing nothing dosnt really offend me in the slightest.
As others have said, Mark Devlin is clearly the true figurehead at the moment - he's the one in contact with the council etc.

I was under the impression he was getting paid his usual wage for the rest of the season as a pay off and Iffy was still on a coach's wage as a consequence of that.

Don't really have anything against Carson and understand the role is a title more than anything, but I think he'd be best advised to step down from it, if we could find someone else willing to do it (what little it would involve). If only because his lack of interest in the club causes friction.
Might be worth combining the Chairman and Chief Exec roles and giving it to Devlin, allowing Sandy to become chief bottle washer again. Is Holt still around?

Bah, I said Yesss.
It's the old conundrum though every man asks himself at one point, rusty razor blade in hand. Willie or no Willie?
At least with a Willie we get some press attention. Most of it's alright and opposed to nothing at all I can't see any point in replacing him for the sake of it. So why the Yes vote?
I’m a firm believer that a Chairman should be the man that holds the cards or at the very least the right hand man of the man who holds the cards. Unfortunately I’d guess that would be Diamandis in this case which is a different kettle of fish altogether.
I’d much rather have the man with the plan up front, not necessarily handling the media side of things but there should definitely be a visible presence.

Iffy is supposedly on less than me; a rubbish, lazy 22 year old idiot.

I know it's an unpaid role but even having his name as anything but a shareholer is taking the piss....out of us! no doubt after a whole lifetime of "investing" my time and energy into supporting the team, paying for tickets and shirts and travelling home and away etc to back the club, I might just have achieved the magnificent feat, of equalling Willy's £500k investment. Perhaps I should be chairman when that happens, after all I'll have worked a lot harder for the club than he has.
