 There is the remains of a tunnel, which was intended to link the main line to the Midland and South West Junction Railway....in Old Town.

 It got so far and was abandoned and filled in and a cutting around Old Town dug instead to link the line at Rushy Platt.

 The houses in Hunt Street started to fall down some years back as the tunnel started to subside....it was meant to be dug roughly under my house.
