What sort of ticket are you going to aquire.

I was perusing the options last night and there's a fuck off big difference between the prices for very similar deals.

I haven't got the link to hand but the site we were looking at had a route planner ythat ou can knock together your dream ticket and it'll price it up.

Looking at 12 months 1k ticket plus 10k min spends and a TEFL course at 1k on top.

Fotunately my new gaff means that I can rent my property out and make an income and pay the mortgage at the same time.

STA in Reading. Just went in, listed my countries and asked for a quote.

The two flights i havent booked will cost about 600 quid though. I cant wait. Life is just not worth living at the moment. All I do is save my money, gamble my money away, then save is some more.

Luckily I have a wad saved in the bank that my skybet cant get near. I dont even drink any more. Apart from Saturdays of course.

I'm broker than a gypsey selling pegs.  Just had to fork out for stuff for my new gaff and goodies to stock it.

We're looking at Sep 07 departure.  The big save starts in May once I clear some debt but I'll be able to let my apartment out and should bring in a decent income.

Going to do a TEFL course though before we head off.  Loads of chaps I met in Sarf America were working off that and had long since blown their savings.

Teaching English as a foreign language.

The foreign folk pay you to teach them English in English.  You couldn't make it up.

Depends on the country but it makes finding work and work permits easy to come by.  Usually at language schools where you'll be teaching small groups of teens and early 20's so plenty to perve on.  Plus they'll usually throw you free accom and grub.

You can make serious cash in Japan and Korea and at the end of the day it's a qualification you can use back here at home in a language school.

There's loads of different courses but you need the official qualification which is about a grand for a 4-6 week course, accom usually thrown in.

TEFL is on my shortlist of "Things to do to make life more interesting" list. Possibly in a place called Tulum in Mejico

I have a feeling that a lot of those bargain tickets don't allow you to go to South America. That is something to watch out for... especially as South America is great IMHO.

TEFL in the far east would be best from a ROI perspective... especially if you have a 'British Accent'. A friend of mine from HK lived in mainland China for a while, and made a killing, doing recordings for CDs etc that people buy to learn English.

It's getting better on the South America route.  When I looked a few years back most of the package deals couldn't incorporate any South American cities.

Having a flick last night there are a few options you can now do.  I think Onion's approach is the best way to head.  Compile a list of countries in rough order you want to visit and see what the agents can come up with.

Yeah that sounds like an idea. god im bored with life. Im in no mans land. cant go out, cant think about doing anything, just have to save money and think about September. Then im off! no more boring Swindon town, no more gay swindon night life, no more speaking to poor people at work.

I bet I die in the summer, that would really piss me off.
