I assume that most people in Luxemburg speak French? Anyone know anything about this tiny little country? Is beer expensive etc? Are the women nice?

We are celebrating St Patrick's day out in Luxemburg city centre, are pubs likely to open past midnight? :-))(

I believe citizens are called Luxembourgeois.

Rosa Luxemborg wasn't from Luxemborg, but if her Communist revolution in Germany had hapened it might have saved us some trouble.  Wanderley Luxemborgo isn't from there either.

 Radio Luxemborg probably is though.

Going to majorca this year   Smiley

Never been there before but we are art owners of a large holiday company so basically get really cheap holidays because we invested money a couple generations ago

So its really high quality, and majorca. All good.

Nothing too exciting planned because of money (or lack of).

Going to Jedburgh for a week in June. Couldn't find any good pictures so here's a map showing where it is!

And going to Sweden later in the year to see my mate and family who are moving out there. Again, no good photos but here's a wierd picture of the bridge my mate has to drive over every day to his work in Copenhagen. I have no idea who the man is.

I think that there are a lot of people living there who are not Luxemboug nationals. I get the impression that it is something of a tax haven... so petrol is cheap, but I would imagine a lot of stuff is expensive, as there are lots of rich banking types living there.

As for holidays, weekend in Mexico at the end of the month, Spain for Easter, Hamburg in the summer, and Chile/Argentina in the Autumn. Haven't taken more than 10 days holiday in each of the last two years at work, so have been ticked off and forced to take a lot this year, to get the balance under control... No complaints from me.
