I assume that most people in Luxemburg speak French? Anyone know anything about this tiny little country? Is beer expensive etc? Are the women nice?
We are celebrating St Patrick's day out in Luxemburg city centre, are pubs likely to open past midnight? :-))(

Rosa Luxemborg wasn't from Luxemborg, but if her Communist revolution in Germany had hapened it might have saved us some trouble. Wanderley Luxemborgo isn't from there either. Radio Luxemborg probably is though.

All good. I've been there twice, Its very nice. Very similar to minorca funnily enough. We stayed in Alcudia (sp). It was a very lively resort. The beach was lushush. Just waiting for the big one when I'm 18, then I've done all the balerics islands hehehehe....

Radio Luxemborg probably is though. I think that there are a lot of people living there who are not Luxemboug nationals. I get the impression that it is something of a tax haven... so petrol is cheap, but I would imagine a lot of stuff is expensive, as there are lots of rich banking types living there. As for holidays, weekend in Mexico at the end of the month, Spain for Easter, Hamburg in the summer, and Chile/Argentina in the Autumn. Haven't taken more than 10 days holiday in each of the last two years at work, so have been ticked off and forced to take a lot this year, to get the balance under control... No complaints from me.
