Serves him right for labelling Fjortofts goal against Millwall in 1995 as a fluke!

VVanker!!

I hope Sunderland go down with a new record low points total!!

How can you like him?  Shit player, shit manager, shit results.  I'm surprised he's managed to stay in employment for so long.

He's hilarious. For instance, this season, the Man Utd fans were chanting Keano at him so he wandered down the touchline with his hand to his ear, then put two fingers up to the away contingent.

 Cool

He's a good manager, shame he didn't have the money to make his club great.

He's still at Sunderland as they know they're down and he's already bought them straight back up from The Championship the other year.

i do feel that maybe this sacking is a bit retarded. if they felt it was his fault surely the chairman and board could've seen the writing on the wall after...oh...10 games? not with 10 games to go!

i wouldn't say i like him but he's honest and compared to cunts like mourinho that's a god send.

Seems a strange decision to fire him now, they've been going down for ages so they could have sacked him ages ago or waited till the end of the season.

Did you see Breen get sent off? Wtf? Who would actually want the job now anyway? Even though he had little to spend he stil spent it on shit like Stead and Gray, they never really did have much hope
