There is an article in todays adver called Devlins Diary.
I recieved some shock news at our regular management meeting. The cost of close-season remedial work on some of the stands at the County Ground could run into six-figures
Could this be why the players are so unhappy and miles away at the moment. We need to find [yet another] 6 figure sum. This will probably mean bonuses on hold, potentiall pay on hold and new contracts being offered a further reduced rate?
....or no way linked at all and the Bryan Adams concert will cover it all?

No link. Adams concert will cover some, our Multi-millionaire investor will cover the rest. Sorted

Devlins Diary:
04/03/2006.
Dear Diary, today has been mad! I was using the postponed game time to catch up some paperwork, when who turned up? None other than Willie Carson. Apperently he'd decided to come to the game and nobody had told him it had been called off. Willie wasn't happy and made me go make him a white coffee laced with gin. He's always so fucking difficult though. Why does he insist on having horse milk in his coffee? I made the short walk to tesco's only to find out they were out of horse milk. I wasn't expecting them to have any but you can always hope! This meant I had to go milk one of willie's horses. I swear that mare has it in for me. Thing kept trying to kick me. She soon calmed down when I got my rythm going. Think I got enough to last willie for a while, I'm sure milking horses wasn't in my job description!
I got back to my office to find willie asleep naked on my desk. I tried to gently wake him to give him his gin-coffee but he was startled, he shouted some unintelligable high-pitched scottish nonsence and bolted out the door. That's the 3rd time it's happened this month. Hopefully none of the papers get any photos of him running around the car park naked. Not sure he's a big enough celebraty for them to be too bothered. I'd go and try and calm him down but it never helps. He'll tire himself out eventually and come back inside and go back to sleep.
Mmm.. horse milk coffee gin is really nice. No wonder Willie always wants it.
Think that's it for the day, got to get up early tomorrow to find wherever Jenkins is sleeping rough and get him to training.

I think I might do another one tomorrow. The only reason I let my comedy brain work is for forum attention. Two replies is pretty lame. Especially as I had to bully village into making one. Maybe it's just not as funny as I thought (of course I only said that so everybody could tell me how funny it is).
That took me 10-15mins out of my life to write, the least I could get is a bit of feedback you ungrateful cunts.

FB, that is boss. We want more - well, I do anyway. More Devlin milking horses antics (erm, although I think on this occasion I'd be quite glad if you didn't do visuals to go with it).

I'll try and do a few more. aslong as the real devlin doesn't get offended if he reads it. The town board, management and players are pretty easy to parody so should have enough to material. It's easier than drawing the comic I've been promising all week aswell.
