Id say open a Pay Pal account as we did for the sponser a player thing.If you can't do pay pal then send some cash / cheque to whatever address?
Personally Id prefer it if the amount the person has donated is kept secreret?(obviously I can afford more than Johno,etc,etc)
Maybe we could change the colour of user names if they have donated(no matter how much) to signify that they are a 'premium member' or something?
I thought about a 'premium' members only forum but that would just restrict decent chat so I dont think thats a good idea.
Alternativly I could price up a couple of hundred mugs/key rings/stickers whatever and we could aim to raise running costs through that.(orders would have to be upfront though im not willing to fund initial purchase on a risk (soz)

obviously I can afford more than Johno flash bastard. frankly paypal and donations are the way to go. donate over a tenner and get a free @thetownend.co.uk email address and maybe the ability to edit your own title or something. |
