Reading what some of the players had to say in the adver today, how do you read into it?

Peacock seems completely destroyed and furious about it but is hoping (like I'm sure we all are) that it gives them all a huge kick up the backside. Evans seems eager to turn it around as does Cureton who rightly said they deserve every bit of stick they get.

The thing thats bugged me, is that only Evans credited the fans. They all should be apologising to us as we put in a performance that far, far surpassed what they produced on the pitch. They've let us down more than anyone.

I hope they all give 110% against Tranmere as IMO anything less is not good enough.

I read it the same as Iffy-its actions not words that count.Anyone can say they are furious about it afterwards but their performances, including Peacock, spoke volumes about their attitude. For christ sake Peacock said"our hearts weren't in it".Now you can praise his honesty maybe but I NEVER want to hear a Town player say that.

Of course, the Advertiser is notorious for their excellent journalism. Wouldn't surprise me if all of the players apologised but the apologies weren't published.

Oi VD. Why, amongst your showering of pessimism have you got sWINdon as your location? I think there is an optimist ready to break the shackles of your pessimistic mould.

I agree, DV85.

Reading anything into reported comments made by generally inarticulate footballers who have a microphone shoved into their face is generally nigh on impossible anyway.
