I think I had it pretty easy tbh. I'm a bit too old to have done the theory test and my instructor was more than happy to be 'paid' in a currency consisting of white powder.
Cheesy

how did conversation reach that point!?

It was around '91/92, so pills and powders white were all the rage. He was already a 'customer' and after a chat in a club one night he mentioned he was a driving instructor. In real money it probably cost about £30 for the 12 lessons.

And no Decks, I still had to do the actual test with a proper test instructor. Think it was about £45, daylight robbery if you ask me!

I would like to point out though that I am now a fine upstanding pillar of the community and deplore the aiding of terrorism and money laundering through illegal activities. Usually  Smiley

Haha. I'm retired from all that now mate. A good innings though, only one night in the cells in 6 years. They do a nice full English breakfast at Devizes though    Cool

I've swapped Chippenham for Burgess Hill, more of a side-step I think! Could have been worse though, Walrus is just up the road in Crawley  Wink
