Your a computer whiz. I'm after a decent DVD Writer and not sure which is good/bad. Budget is £70 and wondered what i could get for that. Seen some ones on dabs but as soon as you send an email asking them questions all they say is "sorry we cannot offer assistance with these products, please go to www.dabs.com" Usefull fuckers eh. :roll: anyway, any help appreciated

no software, depends if you nick any software off a mate and possibly doesn't come with a cable but should be a spare on in your pc if your adding a drive and you can use the same one if your replacing a drive

Or you can use two drives, so you could copy stuff from a CD straight to a DVD or something.

i was thinking of that but wouldn't the new dvd drive use space on my hard drive with it's drives etc??? i.e. 10gb?? I'm gonna need a new hard drive at some stage as out of a 40gb i have 6 left.
