Sounds nasty. His face looks extremely pale in that picture, Poor lad.
He may be a man united scummer, but I would'nt of wished that on him. Ouch.
I hope everything goes ok for him  Sad  Must be so frustrating.

He was really sucking on the oxygen pipe. Looked a mess. I said to my mate that kind of pain doesn't occur unless you break something, whilst he maintained it was a dislocated ankle

Guess we were both right

I think Alex Ferguson did this on purpose to get alot of time added on.

Did anyone see Van Nistelroys reaction when he looked at Smiths leg?You could tell it was a nasty just from that.

And the rest ... To be honest, looking at the pics in the papers I'd be surprised if he plays again. Depends if the bone shattered or snapped but it really didn't look good. Looked a David Buust break to me.

Bet he's glad he negotiated a five year deal now!

If he'd been on three or less he'd be fooked!

I think Sven Goran Eriksson would have taken him to the World Cup too... So, I'd say there's a place up for grabs now for a fringe player and PHIL NEVILLE  :|

I had to laugh at how the papers circled it, i mean were not going to look at his arm.  :?

The pictures in the paper are shocking
Looks as though his ankle was hanging off.

I could see it straight away as well, and every time they kept replaying it made it worse. Do feel sorry for him as that is a horrible injury and most have been so painful.
